For a typical CLEC, carrier access billing charges (CABS) are an important source of revenue. Logix identified that it was billing far less CABS revenue through an outsourcing company than it should have been.
Solution
In addition to using Intec’s licensed InterconnecT CABS product on a continuing basis, to optimise its intercarrier billing, Logix also leveraged Intec’s CABS service bureau for a special, one-off recovery project.
Value Creation
For the recovery project, Intec created bills totalling over $925,000, 82% of which Logix could collect in the short-term.
CABS generated significant revenues that would otherwise have been lost. The extensive reporting features, offered the business much greater operational and cash-flow visibility for its access billing.
