Intec Telecom Systems Strengthens India Operations

New Delhi - In its endeavour to further strengthen its presence in India and fulfill its vision of becoming the most trusted supplier of Business Support Software (BSS) solutions in the country, Intec Telecom Systems PLC, a global provider of BSS solutions, has announced the appointment of a new Vice President designate to lead its India and South Asia operations.

Bikram Bedi, has been appointed to lead Intec’s in-country practice in the capacity of the Vice President India and South Asia, based in New Delhi. His prime focus will be to target high growth and high value markets adjacent to Intec’s current position in India, with an emphasis on providing strategic inputs and advisory services to Indian clients as well as making Intec the employer of choice for high-delivery BSS solutions services.

Bikram began his career in Meskaster Telematics Ltd in 1993 and has over 16 years experience in the software industry in the Asia Pacific region, with a proven track record of global software business management across different industries.  He also has over 10 years’ experience in leadership roles including 9 years with IBM, holding key positions in strategy and business unit operations in emerging technology, business development and operational management. Bikram’s most recent assignment before joining Intec was as General Manager, heading up the Asia Pacific Business Unit for LotusLive, the IBM Software as a Service (SAAS) or Cloud Computing entity.

Bikram is a Post Graduate diploma in marketing management from Times School of Marketing and has a BE Electronics & Communication from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
